Sorry, long time no type

Sorry I have not been updating here much. I have been pretty busy helping out with the grandparents lately.

Grandma had complications to her gall bladder surgery. She is recovering, but it is slow going. Her surgery was the Monday after Easter and there are still days where she can't eat anything without it coming back on her.

Grandpa had a blood sugar of almost 600 this morning. I was on the phone with his doctors and the dialysis clinic from 7:30am until about 8:30am this morning. The dialysis clinic called around 10am to let us know that his blood sugar had dropped about 500 points in two hours and he had a seizure while he was in the chair at dialysis. He gave himself a puncture wound from the needles that were already in his arm when it happened.

He is okay now. I had to check his blood sugar every hour after he got home to make sure he was okay, but it seems to be sorted now.

Oh, and before all of that, Max got sick after his birthday and was on antibiotics and then he had an allergy to the medicine and had hives for 4 days. Then was okay for two days, and then he had a fever of 103 for two days, and then he was okay for about a week. And last Saturday Max threw up for about 12 hours straight; mostly on me.

Sadly, I have been wanting to write and just not had the energy to do so.

Instead, I read all of the Sookie Stackhouse novels. Love 'em.

Vampires > vomit.

No doubt.

I've only been able to read Dead Until Dark, but I'm all over those books this summer.

Sounds like you have had a really rough time of things. Kids do eventually stop vomiting (at least till they hit late adolescence and start drinking alcohol......)

Hope your grandad is feeling better tnad that things pick up for you...*sends some Harry love*
