About the continuing illness and such

I went to see my OB today. She has ordered me to bed until Monday and started another round of antibiotics. While the pain is crappy, she is more concerned that the infection in my lungs is not being resolved. If this round doesn't get it taken care of she is concerned that I may have to be checked in to the hospital to get IV antibiotics. Yeah.

She also listened to the Puff and as far as his heart rate and his level of activity goes she said that he is fine. That was nice to hear.

Needless to say I shall be propped up with pillows in my big chair until Monday morning.

Please forgive my lack of comments lately, I haven't much energy.

Huge hugs and lung healing vibes being sent your way from California for both you and the Puff. Glad to hear he's doing fine.

I'm fighting off a minor cough, but your's sounds horrid, especially while pregnant. I'm sure you've heard everything, but my recs (if you care): Peppermint tea (with agave syrup if you need sweetener), it always helps my throat and lungs, and no caffeine. If you can stomach dairy, the bugs in yogurt are really helpful (there's also acidophilus pills for the same effect, no dairy). And deep breathing exercises, preferable with steam. They make you cough, but it opens up the passages.

I hope you don't have to go to the hospital!!!!

(((hugs you gently)))

I've made some chicken soup and orange juice for you.

Glad to her little Puff is okay though with you being so sick. Umm suggestions for bronchitis would be loads of tea, a good vaporizor, and vicks on your chest with a heated wash cloth over it. That would also take away some of the pain from your ribs.

I'm sorry you aren't feeling well and have to be bed ridden for so long. I know how you feel though. Last year, while I was pregnant with my twins, I was on mandatory bedrest for a month (give or take) and I thought I was going to go crazy. I have two older kids too (all boys btw) and I would have to have pregnant-woman sitters so come over while my hubby was at work so they could take care of my kids. I felt like I was letting people down bc I couldn't do my job as a mother and housewife. I somehow got through it though and my boys are awesome! Good luck, and I hope everything turns out well for you!

Really big hugs - the non-painful sort of course.
