Okay some folks might think that I am strange for continually posting pictures of my uterus and its little resident, but pan_alchemist insists that everyone loves to see new pics of the Puff.

Anayway, so I went back to the baby doctor for my monthly check up and they couldn't catch the Puff's heartbeat on the little Dopler thingy, so I had to get another sonogram. Puff is fine, s/he was just being difficult. I also found out that I have to get another sonogram at 15 weeks to check on an ovarian cyst, and then at 20 weeks we get to go to the hospital for what I have been calling the High-Def sonogram to check for birth defects. Being a type 1 diabetic, I have a higher risk of cardiac and spinal defects. So we get to have the big indepth sonogram. So if we can't tell at the one next month we should certainly know at the 20 week if, as ladytonks says, it is a pink or blue Puff.

Without further ado here is the latest view of the Puff...

In other news I came home from work today because my blood sugars decided to spike for no aparent reason so I am home so it will be easier for me to keep an eye on them, that and I can't focus on anything at work.

And I have a potluck at work tomorrow, and I will probably have to pack my lunch anyway since I doubt that everyone at work will had me copies of the nutritional information for each of the dishes that they have brought. I am making sugar free oatmeal raisin cookies with pumpkin, they are fun because you can arrange raisins on the top to make them look like little jack o' lanterns.

Don't worry dear its about the same as the ultrasound gel, which my doctor calls goop.

Ooo, did you make those applesauce oatmeal raisin cookies that Mom always made when we were little and deprived of twinkies and white bread?

Duh, I didn't see the word "pumpkin"! Or did you just get creative with that recipe?

No I think they are in the LLL cook book under Good For You Cookies pg 152.
I use pumpkin for the squash, leave out the powdered milk, use oatmeal instead of wheat germ and no brewer's yeast ( it is optional anyway) then I use Splenda for the molasses and brown sugar. Or you can just use the Splenda for the molasses and use the brown sugar if you want to make them lower sugar.
