My husband (who has earned the right to be called that again very well over the past few months) is now reading "Dino Babies!" for the umpteenth night in a row to Max. Max always gets mildly distressed with the page about Allosaurus parents bringing thier babies "large chunks of plant-eating dinosaurs" but he gets over it quickly and enjoys the rest of the book. :)

In the past few months, Max has completely weaned from nursing, turned 3, and become potty trained. He wears pull-ups when we go out and over night, but today was the first time in a week that he has had an "accident" in his pull-up and that includes over night. And yesterday he took the seat off his training potty and put it on the big toilet and just switched like that. Today, he looked at his little potty and said, "I don't use that anymore." Where did my baby go??

Also, I am pretty sure that he is going through a gallon and a half of organic whole milk a week. At his 3 year check up, the doctor told me he was in the 82nd percentile for height and the 73rd for weight. At 2 he was in the 55th for height and the 23rd for weight. You can still count all of his ribs though. I have no idea where he gets that from.

As far as the rest of my family goes, my husband really keeps impressing me with how much he is willing to work things out and how much more he is willing to give as far as our little family is concerned and as far as my extended family is as well. Things have been very good since he moved back in, but this past weekend was just comfortable, fun and nice. It was just bone warming, deep down good. And we didn't really do anything wildly romantic or crazy cool. I think that made it even better.

That is about all. I am completely addicted to facebook, as some of you know. I actually had a pretty decent high school experience so I think that is one thing that allows me to enjoy it. That and I have been able to connect with people from my old job in Kentucky as well as people that I went to church camp with when I was in high school and college. Also I have become quite taken with the Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter series. ebooks are your friend, especially when the closest book store is a 45 minute drive away.

I have been keeping up on my flist here. Sorry if I haven't commented much, but 3 year old attention spans tend to rub off on their primary care givers. Love you all!

I'm really glad things are working out with you and Dave; I have not been around much myself, due to work pressures, but it's great to hear your good news, xxxx
