I know I am a stay at home mom, but Fridays still feel awesome.

I am going to the Mexaurant for margaritas tonight with a couple of friends so that is awesome. I honestly cannot remember the last time that I went out with friends at night. Also in calling old friends to see if they wanted to join us, I finally got reconnected with some friends that I should have been talking to the whole 4 years that I have been back here. Oddly, it is at times like this that I get nervous and turn into the seven year old girl who didn't get invited to the slumber party and thinks that no one wants to hang out with me. It was nice to have old friends be glad to hear from me.


We told Max that his daddy is going to have his own room in the basement. I figured that we needed to because Dave's new mattress is being delivered today. He doesn't seem to be taking it too bad. I think what seems to be throwing him more is that I am going out tonight. He knows that Daddy sometimes goes out with his friends, but apparently Mommy's don't get to do that!


I am desperately in love with my Avett Brothers station on Pandora. It is amazingly music I can write to, which I have seriously needed.

I need a cocktails icon I think, now that I am a single lady and all.
